The traditional way of selling vegetables and grocery is booming day by day. Each village have number of aggregators, each aggregators collect vegetables from farmers and sell it to traders, the traders then auction the vegetables at the best price they get. The vegetables then enter the Mandi and that picked up wholesalers, retailers and vegetable vendors at an auction price. Consumers finally pay the price from the vegetable outlets at loss, so in that way consumers pay the more and farmers get the less. But In case of Udyan Fresh farmers will get a fair price and consumers will get fresher veggies at a cheaper rate.
Government will provide land to private partners to set up the outlets that will be managed in public private partnership mode. The state horticulture directorate has decided that Surendra Agritech Pvt Ltd has been chosen as the private partner with Government .Surendra Agritech Pvt. Ltd introducing UdyanFresh . It destruct this distribution chain and ties of with small older farmers. The farmers directly put all their productive vegetables directly to Udyan Fresh center. After the grading process starts where products are weighed, cleaned, stored, sorted, and packaged labeled. Only high quality packages are transferred to Udyan Fresh retail outlets in the different cities.In this process farmers will get a fair price and consumers will get fresher veggies at a cheaper rate.
